What Is Included in the Georgia Payroll Calendar

The calendar is built as a practical reminder layer for payroll teams. It includes fixed-date payroll deadlines and also flags payroll operations that need review because the exact due date can depend on your pay schedule, tax liability, or agency updates.

Georgia withholding

GA-V, G-7, and G-1003 dates

Monthly Georgia GA-V withholding payment reminders, quarterly Georgia G-7 return/payment reminders, and Georgia G-1003 year-end W-2, 1099-NEC, and other 1099 filing reminders.

Georgia DOL

UI tax and wage reports

Quarterly Georgia unemployment insurance tax and wage report/payment deadlines, plus domestic employer annual UI report reminders for payroll-year closeout.

Federal payroll

IRS deposits and returns

Federal monthly payroll tax deposit reminders, Form 941 quarterly due dates, conditional FUTA deposit reminders, federal payroll year-end forms, and conditional extension reminders.

Banking holidays

ACH and payroll lead-time dates

Federal Reserve payroll banking holidays from 2026 through 2030 so payroll teams can plan direct deposit, ACH funding, tax payment, and processor cutoff timing.

Georgia operations

Annual review reminders

New-hire reporting, Georgia wage-payment frequency, Georgia G-4 exempt/high-allowance certificate review, withholding lookback review, and the published 2026 Georgia state office holiday schedule.

Important limits

Employer-specific dates are still yours

The file does not invent company-specific paydays, semiweekly deposit dates, $100,000 next-day deposit dates, disaster-relief changes, or internal payroll approval cutoffs.

How to Add the Georgia Payroll Dates to Google Calendar

For most payroll teams, the cleanest setup is to create a dedicated Google Calendar first, then import the `.ics` file into that calendar. That keeps the Georgia payroll dates easy to hide, recolor, edit, export, or delete later.

1

Download the file

Click Download Georgia .ics File above. Keep the downloaded file where you can find it, usually your Downloads folder.

2

Create a new calendar

Open Google Calendar on a computer. Next to Other calendars, choose Add other calendars, then Create new calendar.

3

Name it clearly

Name it Georgia Payroll Dates 2026-2030 - TimeTrex. Add a short description so future you knows it is safe to remove.

4

Import the .ics file

Go to Settings, then Import & export. Select the downloaded `.ics` file and choose your new Georgia payroll calendar as the destination.

5

Confirm the import

Search for Georgia GA-V or check January 15, 2026 for the December 2025 Georgia GA-V withholding payment reminder.

Import, Subscribe, Edit, or Delete: Which Should You Choose?

The self-hosted `.ics` file can be used two ways. Importing is best when users want control. Subscribing from URL is best when users want a feed-style calendar and do not need to edit each event.

Recommended: import into a new calendar

  • Best for editing: Imported events can usually be edited like normal Google Calendar events.
  • Best for cleanup: Delete the separate calendar later without touching your primary calendar.
  • Best for testing: Hide or recolor the Georgia payroll calendar while you decide whether to keep it.
  • Tradeoff: Imported events do not automatically update if TimeTrex publishes a newer file later.

Optional: subscribe from URL

  • Use the URL: In Google Calendar, use Add calendar, then From URL, and paste the TimeTrex `.ics` link.
  • Good for read-only viewing: A subscribed calendar is usually less editable than an imported calendar.
  • Cleanup: If you do not own the calendar, remove it with Remove calendar, then Unsubscribe.
  • Tradeoff: Google controls refresh timing, so updates may not appear immediately.

How to Manage the Calendar Later

Creating a separate Georgia payroll calendar gives users a clean exit path. They can test the calendar without mixing 340 payroll events into their primary personal or company calendar.

Keep it, but make it easier to scan

  • Hide temporarily: Under My calendars, click the checkbox or color square next to the Georgia payroll calendar.
  • Change the color: Hover over the calendar name, open the three-dot menu, and choose a new color.
  • Edit one date: Open the event, adjust the title, note, or reminder, and save it to the Georgia payroll calendar.

Remove it cleanly

  • Imported calendar: Go to Google Calendar settings, select Georgia Payroll Dates 2026-2030 - TimeTrex, then use Remove calendar and Delete permanently.
  • Subscribed calendar: Go to settings, select the subscribed calendar, then use Remove calendar and Unsubscribe.
  • Do not delete your primary calendar: The dedicated-calendar setup avoids that problem entirely.

Georgia Payroll Calendar FAQ

Short answers for users before they import a payroll calendar into a personal, team, or company Google Calendar account.

Will the imported Georgia payroll dates update automatically?

No. Importing the `.ics` file creates Google Calendar events from the file. If TimeTrex publishes an updated Georgia file later, download the newer file and import it into a new calendar or replace the old Georgia payroll calendar.

Can I create the new Google Calendar from a phone?

Use a computer browser for setup. Google Calendar new-calendar creation and `.ics` file imports are handled through the browser settings workflow. After setup, the calendar can appear in the Google Calendar app if the account syncs there.

Why does a 2026-2030 payroll calendar include 2031 dates?

Some January, February, and March 2031 deadlines belong to the 2030 payroll year, such as Q4 2030 reporting and 2030 year-end form obligations. Those trailing dates are included so the 2030 payroll year closes cleanly.

Does this include semiweekly deposit dates?

No fixed calendar can know every employer's payday pattern or tax liability. The file includes monthly-depositor reminders and event notes about semiweekly and next-day rules, but employer-specific deposit timing should be handled inside payroll operations.

Does this replace tax, legal, or payroll advice?

No. Use the calendar as a planning aid. Confirm the dates that apply to your company with your payroll provider, tax advisor, legal counsel, and the latest agency guidance.
