Texas Payroll Compliance Dates for Google Calendar

Download the TimeTrex Texas payroll calendar for 2026 through 2030, then import it into a separate Google Calendar so quarterly filings, wage reports, deposit checkpoints, and payroll reminders are easy to see, edit, hide, or delete later.

What Is Included in the Calendar

This download is built for Texas employers and payroll teams that want one practical calendar for state unemployment reporting, federal payroll filing deadlines, and payroll operations reminders.

Texas does not have a state wage withholding calendar, so the file focuses on Texas unemployment reporting, Texas wage-payment reminders, and the federal payroll dates Texas employers still need to manage.

How to Import the Texas Payroll Calendar into Google Calendar

For the cleanest setup, do this from Google Calendar in a desktop browser. Google Calendar can import `.ics` files, but the safest workflow is to create a new blank calendar first and import the file into that calendar.

Do not import the file into your primary calendar unless you are sure. A separate calendar keeps the imported payroll events easy to hide, recolor, edit, or delete.

Download the file

Click Download Texas .ics File above and save the file to your computer. If the file opens in your browser, use the browser's save option.

Create a new calendar

Open Google Calendar in a browser. On the left, next to Other calendars, click the plus icon, then choose Create new calendar.

Name it clearly

Use a name that makes the imported dates obvious later, such as Texas Payroll Compliance Dates 2026-2030. Add a short description, then click Create calendar.

Import into that calendar

Go to Settings, then Import & Export. Select the downloaded `.ics` file, choose your new Texas payroll calendar as the destination, and click Import.

How to Manage, Hide, or Remove It Later

Because the Texas payroll dates are imported into their own calendar, you are not locked into the setup. You can test it, recolor it, hide it for a while, or delete the whole imported calendar if it does not fit your workflow.

  • Hide it temporarily: Under My calendars, click the color box next to the Texas payroll calendar name.
  • Change the color: Hover over the calendar name, open the three-dot menu, and choose a color. A blue or orange color works well for payroll deadlines.
  • Edit one imported event: Open the event in Google Calendar, make the change, and save it.
  • Delete the whole imported calendar: Open calendar settings, select the Texas payroll calendar, go to Remove calendar, then delete it.

Common Questions

Use these notes before importing the file into a shared company calendar or a personal Google account.

Will the imported dates update automatically?

No. This is a downloadable `.ics` import file. After importing it, Google Calendar treats the events as calendar entries. If TimeTrex publishes an updated file later, download and import the updated version into a new calendar or replace the old imported calendar.

Can I import the file on a phone?

Google recommends importing calendar files from a computer. Creating a new Google Calendar also needs to be done from a browser, not from the mobile Calendar app.

Does this replace legal, tax, or payroll advice?

No. Use it as a planning aid. Confirm deadlines that apply to your company with your payroll provider, tax advisor, legal counsel, and the latest agency guidance.

What if my company uses a semiweekly IRS deposit schedule?

Semiweekly deposit dates depend on actual pay dates, so this calendar does not invent company-specific semiweekly dates. It includes the general payroll filing framework and monthly-depositor reminders, while the event descriptions explain when pay-date-specific rules may apply.
